Gary Bacon
Country manager
Management sector
Gary commenced his career in the construction industry in 1986
working with contracting organisations and private practice. He has
developed his career in a competitive, varied and demanding
environment. Professionally trained as a quantity surveyor, Gary
now acts as Country Manager for the Russian Federation, and is a
Projects director for our Management team. Gary can be contacted in
respect of project and cost management services at our Moscow
Office.
Dr. Svetlana Panova
General Manager
Water and environment sector
Svetlana began her professional career in 1995 through the RF
Environment Management Project. In 2002 she joint Mott MacDonald as
deputy team leader for the EU funded Joint River Management
Programme in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
Svetlana's experience is in the environmental and water resource
sectors, and can be contacted in our Moscow Office. With a PhD in
physical geography, Svetlana specialises in water resource
planning, environmental training and impact assessments plus
hydrology.
Paul Friday
Buildings and infrastructure
Paul is a chartered engineer with more than ten years experience in
consultancies in the UK, Ireland, and Russia, specialising in
building, design, site supervision and project management.
Arcady Azarov
Project Management
Arcady is associate director and head of the project management
sub-division. He has vast experience of delivering projects for a
variety of western and Russian clients in Moscow.
Experience includes project management in a wide variety of very
large and small projects. A good communicator with a natural
ability as a strong team leader coupled with effective
co-ordination skills and a capacity to appreciate project-wide
implications. Showing dedication to the job has consistently
resulted in deliverables being produced on time and to a high
standard developing a strong reputation with clients.
Robert Furness
Cost management
Robert is Associate of Mott MacDonald responsible for leading the
cost management team. He has over 17 years experience of the
construction industry including 10 years spent working in Central
and Eastern Europe. With particular experience of leading teams on
major projects in Russia and the CIS has been instrumental in the
successful delivery of cost and commercial management services
across a variety of sectors including commercial office, industrial
and production facilities, warehousing and distribution, retail,
residential, leisure, education, hotels and infrastructure.
