Integrated Water and Wastewater Construction and Upgrading
Programme
Feasibility study for south west of Rostov Oblast and the city of
Rostov-on-Don.
As part of this project, the following tasks have been performed:
- Preparation of schemes for development of water and waste water
systems of Rostov-on-Don
- Assessment of the existing service quality objectives
- Development of proposals on contents and values of parameters
until 2025
- Technical audit and correction of the contents
- Cost and priorities of the integrated programme
- Correction of the financial model and forecast of the financial
sustainability
- Preparation of the programme of construction and rehabilitation
of water supply and wastewater objects of Rostov-on-Don

South West Sludge Incinerator Design Reviews, St
Petersburg
Appointed to review designs for plant and equipment and provide
advisory and supervisory services of construction works for the
development of the new South West sludge incinerator. Attended
factory inspections on equipment and software being provided under
the contract, provided advice to the client and assistance to the
EU appointed project supervisory unit during procurement,
construction and commissioning.

Vodokanals’ Operations Appraisal: Tuymen, Barnaul, Krasnodar,
Orenburg, Kaluga
Technical and environmental appraisal of the client’s operations,
facilities and investment programme. It was intended that
Vodokanals would use this appraisal to support an application for
funding of their investment programme for a total of US$500
million.

St Petersburg Incinerator Supervision
Construction supervision of new wastewater sludge incineration
facilities for the northern wastewater treatment plant, which
serves 1.6 million people. The facilities aim to reduce the
quantities of sludge currently going into landfill sites and to
generate up to 3MW of electricity by utilising waste heat. Project
also involves the preparation of bid documents and provision of
technical and specialist advice to the client.

Surgut Municipal Services Development Programme
Project management, technical design, tendering and supervision
of refurbishment of water supply, waste water and district heating
systems installed in the 1970s for Surgut – a city in Western
Siberia with a population size of 250,000.
